For the immobilization of the whole sections of the body, PLAST-O-FIT®
is also available in rolls with a separating net allowing for activation of
a complete roll. |
| INDICATIONS: Suggested applications include finger sprain, joint
stiffness, acute monoarthritis, thumb sprain, acute arthritis, deQuervain tendonitis, median nerve injury, instability of the thumb, wrist sprain,
etc. |
| PRECAUTIONS: As with other non-invasive methods of treatment, this bandage
does not prevent shortening. |
| APPLICATION CONSIDERATIONS: PLAST-O-FIT® is excellent
for serial splinting. The bandage must be heated (with hot water or in a
microwave oven on silicone paper) before application. PLAST-O-FIT® has
complete memory. |
